The first 15 minutes the game suffered a little with both sides tryng to play some good rugby but being let down by some poor handling silly errors. However the second half came alive in the 18th minute when Exmouth scored the first of three tries in the space of 8 minutes, when fly half Jonny Boltrukiewicz sliced through the Crediton defence to score under the posts after the ball was won yet again from a Crediton lineout by the Exmouth forwards.

Four minutes later Tony Emmins went over for his second try when he supported Jonny Boltrukiewicz who split the Crediton defence again, Dean Chisling once again came up to kick the conversion to put Exmouth further in the lead 27 - 0. The remaining 15 mins of the game became some what scrappy as player became tired and several injuries slowed the game down, the ref blew the final whistle with Exmouth putting in a reasonable performance to win 42 point to nil.
